Art exhibition features Madin Lab member artwork
We are so excited to share that three lab members’ artwork was featured this week as part of Hawaiʻi Sea Grant’s second annual Sci-Art exhibit entitled Marine and Coastal Scientists as Artists at The ARTS at Marks Garage in Honolulu’s Chinatown Historic District! Aimee Cook-McNab, Annie Innes-Gold, and Elizabeth, Charlotte, and Esme Madin’s artwork feature various aspects of the marine environment and how we as scientists and humans interact with it. The exhibit features 30 artists who are also marine and coastal science researchers, conservationists, students, and educators at eight different universities and colleges based in Hawaiʻi. Opening night was packed and it was fun to share the kinds of work we do with people from all parts of the community!
