Madin Labs joint Laulima Day in the wetlands

Members of the Elizabeth Madin Lab and J. Madin Lab ʻohanas came together today to spend some time giving back to the land and sweating alongside each other. Kākoʻo ʻŌiwi works tirelessly to restore native species and remove invasive species in the He'eia ahupua'a (i.e., large traditional socioeconomic, geologic, and climatic subdivision of land, in this case spanning from the mountains to the sea), and they generously allowed us to be a small part of that long-term effort. Mahalo to Melissa, Brandon, and the rest of the team for leading us today!
