3D-printing and painting ahupuaʻa models at KEY Project

Recently, Ph.D. candidate Annie Innes-Gold and Intern Lomani Rova (from the J Madin Lab) led a workshop at community center KEY Project. They 3D-printed models of our local Heʻeia ahupuaʻa (watershed) and led a class on painting the models, while also sharing some of the Madin labs’ ongoing research. We are looking forward to continuing these science-art initiatives in the future! Stay tuned for another mural that’s coming soon…
